Our History
Rayan Foundation was established in 2005 in reference to meetings by educated Horn of Africa inhabitants’ people those stand up to contribute their communities affected by civil strife nearly two decades in Somalia which caused displacement of nearly two million people especially and to eradicate the illiteracy, hunger and poverty in horn of Africa generally.
Mission of Rayan Foundation
Rayan Foundation’s mission is making a difference in the livelihoods of vulnerable members of the society by providing relief assistance to the victims of conflicts and disasters and to carry out rehabilitation and development projects on social and economic sectors for communities including education, health, environment and infrastructure. Rayan Foundation pursues its mission in three main areas: Relief, Health, Education, sponsoring Orphans & Peoples with special needs & and Water and Sanitation. Poverty is characterized to these people caused by shortage of common things such food clothing shelter and safe drinking water all of which determine the quality of life.
